I love the entire picture and some things stood out to me. I love how all the cool colors of blue are in the background which makes the girl stand out even more. The blue paint running from her fingers across the painting conveys a very melancholy emotion from her especially as she is holding a dying rose. The boy in the painting is very well done. I love the fullness of his hair and the texture of the hair and the roses. The strangling thorns around him and the painting are very moving and added a sense of torture that the character is feeling. The backdrop of the painting is fantastic. The textures and the techniques used here are phenominal. The emotion of the picture is conveyed through the expressions and colors of the characters very well.

I really love the shading in Gary and Ib's hair, it really made their characters stand out to me. I noticed that Ib was hold Gary's dead rose I believe? That added more character to the picture. I also loved the veins that were wrapped all around Gary and in his picture. I loved the blue roses that were in the background of Gary's picture, and the blue rose in Gary's hair stood out to me that the veins were connected to him? The blue tears finished it for me in Gary's picture. The whole thing came out really beautiful! Great job!
